Business types
How your business type changes the checks.
Your business type tells Greenlight what part of a solicitation to judge. You can pick more than one. A bid that fits any of them can pass the lane check.
- Resell or distribute products: judged by the items bought. Supplier rules apply.
- Manufacture products: judged by the products made or bought.
- Provide services: judged by the scope of work, not small incidental items.
- Construction or trades: judged by the construction, repair or install scope.
- Research and development: judged by the research area. Adds the SBIR/STTR source.
- Nonprofit or grant-funded: judged by the funded activities. Adds the Grants.gov source.
Every type starts with SAM.gov as a source.
